New Tables: A long table can pin its header row so it stays in view while the rest of it scrolls. Right-click a cell and select Pin header row while scrolling. See Tables.
New Documentation Index: Move several entries at once. Click one, hold Shift and click another, and the whole run drags together. See Structuring Documentation.
New Feedback: Ask the agent about your readers. It can now read the ratings and comments they left on your pages, and Analyse with AI in the feedback inbox opens it with the question ready to send. See Feedback and AI Agent.
New AI Agent: The AI Editor shows the model your runs use beside your credit balance, and admins can select it to change it. See AI Agent.
Improvement AI Agent: The examples on a new conversation are selectable. Pick one to fill the message box, then send it as it is or edit it first.
Bug Fix AI Agent: Asked to write up what shipped on a day your changelog already has a post for, the agent adds to that post instead of starting a second one. See Changelogs.
New Docs Digest: The broken links report has grown into the docs digest, one email covering broken links, searches that found nothing, reader feedback, drafts still unpublished and comments nobody has resolved. Each section opens AI Agent with the request already written, and admins pick how often it arrives under Project Settings → Advanced. See Advanced Settings.
New AI Agent: The agent can set a page's search keywords, so the terms readers typed and found nothing for can be added to the page that should have answered them. See Page Keywords.
Improvement AI Agent: Remembered preferences are now remembered rules, and cover what to never do as well as what to always do, such as leaving a section alone or where to look first when a topic comes up. Ask the agent to drop one and it does. See AI Agent.
Improvement Emails: Every email DeveloperHub sends has been redesigned on one shared layout, and now shows a written summary in your inbox instead of the first words of the body. Bold text, headings and links are legible in dark mode again.
Improvement Self-Updating Docs: A Watch the setup video link on the settings pane walks through connecting a repository. See Self-Updating Docs.
New Project Settings: You can now take the version picker out of your published docs' top navigation, so a project that only ever has one version doesn't show a dropdown for it. Switch it on under Project Settings → Customisation → Look and feel, and the preview beside it shows the result before you save. Your versions, their publish state and their
/v1.0/...links are unaffected. See Managing Versions.
New AI Agent: A run now keeps going while you are away. Come back to it and you rejoin the turn as it happens, with a Running tag marking it in your conversation list. See AI Agent.
Improvement Self-Updating Docs: You can leave the page while a newly added code repository is fetched. If the fetch fails, it stays attached and tells you why instead of disappearing. See Self-Updating Docs.
Improvement Self-Updating Docs: The check on a pull request links to the run as soon as it starts, so you can follow the agent while it reads. See Checking pull requests.
Bug Fix Self-Updating Docs: The Branch row no longer goes blank when your repository's default branch is not called
main, and an attached repository stops reporting Cannot be read when it is perfectly readable.New Customisation: You can now publish your documentation without the DeveloperHub branding on it. Switch on Remove DeveloperHub branding under Project Settings → Customisation → Look and feel. See Customising Visuals.
New AI Agent: Tell the agent a standing preference in a conversation, such as always using British spelling, and it remembers it for the project and follows it on every run. Take one back with Forget on the row that recorded it, or from the Remembered preferences card in settings. See AI Agent.
Improvement AI Agent: A reply now appears as it is written, thinking included, rather than behind a spinner. If the model you picked is busy, the run carries on with the closest one available and tells you so.
Bug Fix Reader: Headings on your published pages are links again. Select one to jump to that section and get a link straight to it.
New Feedback: Every feedback setting now sits together under Project Settings → General → Feedback: the reactions widget, written messages, redacting personal information and flagging spam. See Feedback.
Improvement AI Features: Our three AI products now have three distinct names, so it is clear which one you are reaching for. AI Agent writes and edits across your pages, AI Writing Tools rewrite a selection in place, and AI Assistant answers your published readers.
Bug Fix AI Agent: Saving a batch of changes that deletes a page now saves the rest of the batch as well. The deleted page also drops out of your readers' search results, and stays deleted in a Git-synced project. See AI Agent.
New AI Agent: Reviewers can now read what the agent proposed for a pull request, line by line, without being able to reply or save. Following the review link from a pull request no longer needs a writer. See AI Agent.
New AI Agent: The agent knows which page you are looking at, so "fix the broken links on this page" works without naming it. The new Viewing row in the Context strip shows what it is taking that to mean, and it follows you as you move around. See AI Agent.
New Account Settings: A Low AI credits toggle under Preferences turns off the warning email for the projects you administer. See Account Settings.
Bug Fix GitHub Sync: Reorganising your sidebar through your repository now applies in full. See GitHub Sync.
New AI Agent: Ask for a change and have it drafted across your whole documentation version. AI Agent now edits many pages, API references and changelog posts in one request, shows you every line it proposes, and saves nothing until you have reviewed it. Point it at a page, a reference or a code file with
@, accept or reject a change a section at a time, and carry on editing while it works.New Self-Updating Docs: Attach your code repositories and the agent can check what your documentation claims against what your code actually does. Turn on pull request checks and it reads each pull request, drafts the documentation updates it implies, and reports back on the pull request without publishing anything. See Self-Updating Docs.
New Search Analytics: The reader searches that came back with nothing now have a Fix with AI Agent button, which opens the agent ready to work out which of those terms are missing pages. See search analytics.
New AI Features: Admins can choose the model every agent run in a project uses. Each one is rated for cost, speed and judgement, and names the provider serving it and the region it runs in, so you can rule out a region if you need to. See AI Features.
Improvement Project Settings: Git Sync is now Docs Sync, with its configuration and its sync history on separate tabs, and everything AI has moved into an AI group of its own. See GitHub Sync.
New PDF Export: Tick the documentation sections and API references you want and generate a PDF of just those, instead of the whole version every time. It all lives in a pane of its own now, at Project Settings → Import & Export → PDF export, where each past build names the sections it was made with.
New Git Sync: Your synced blocks and your reader customisation now sync to your repository too, under
_synced-blocks/and_theme/. Restyle your docs or edit a reusable block in a pull request, like any other change. See GitHub Sync.New Navigation: Navigation groups can carry an icon, picked from Font Awesome or uploaded as your own image, and a changelog can now join a group instead of sitting on its own. See the top navigation bar.
New Organisation Settings: Organisation owners get an activity log spanning every project the organisation owns, searchable by user, project, action, or IP, and filterable by project and scope.
Bug Fix PDF Export: An image the exporter cannot embed is now left out with a placeholder in its place, rather than failing the whole export.
New Editor MCP server: Your AI client can now read search analytics and reader feedback alongside your pages. Ask it which searches returned nothing, or what readers said about a page, and it can go straight on to write the page that was missing. See the editor MCP server tools.
New AI clients: Your account settings now has an Integrations > AI clients pane carrying the install steps for the editor MCP server, so every editor can connect Claude Code, Cursor or Codex to their own account without opening a project's admin settings. The connection uses your own sign-in, so it reaches exactly the projects you can already edit.
Improvement GitHub Sync: Sync now stops before applying a change that would remove your documentation, so a project pointed at the wrong repository no longer takes the published content down with it. Nothing is written, the run appears as paused on the sync activity card with the reason, and sync picks up on its own once the repository is put back.
New Index Icons: Give any entry in your navigation an icon, so the pages readers look for most stand out. Index icons work on pages, categories, labels and links, and you can pick from Font Awesome or upload your own square image. Icons sync through your repository in
_nav.yaml, and the index keeps its flush layout until you use one.New Export a single page to PDF: PDF now sits alongside Markdoc, Markdown and Word in a page's export menu, and downloads straight away. You get the page on its own, without the navigation, table of contents, or the covers of a full version PDF, with tabs and accordions laid out open so nothing stays hidden.
New Move a category to another documentation: Regrouping content across sections no longer means moving pages one at a time. Moving a category takes everything under it along, keeping the order, and links to the pages inside are repointed for you.
Improvement Printing: Printing a page from the browser now gives you the page and nothing else, on your published docs as well as in the editor. The navigation, table of contents, and the copy button on code blocks stay out of the printed copy, long code and wide tables wrap instead of being cut off at the paper edge, and pages print light even when you are reading in dark mode.
Improvement Font Awesome 7: The icon set behind inline icons and index icons moved from Font Awesome 5 to Font Awesome 7 Free, which more than doubles what you can choose from. Existing icons keep rendering under their old names.
Improvement Agent Skills: The organize-docs-repo skill now carries the full list of valid icon names and the exact YAML quoting and indentation the sync writes back, so an agent editing your repository stops producing navigation that gets reformatted on the next sync.
New Editor MCP Server: Write and publish your docs from Claude, Cursor, Codex, or any other MCP client. Turn on the Editor MCP server and your agent can find pages, create, rename and edit them in DeveloperHub's own Markdoc, publish drafts, and check a version for broken links, all under your own account so it reaches only the projects you can already edit.
New Import from Zendesk: Move a Zendesk Help Center into DeveloperHub in a few clicks. Paste any help center URL and Import from Zendesk previews what it will bring over before anything is created, then imports the articles into the version you choose, keeping the category and section structure, rewriting internal links and heading anchors, and showing live progress you can stop at any time.
New Changelogs in GitHub Sync: Changelogs now sync to your repository alongside your pages, so you can write a release note in Git and review it in a pull request before it goes live. Each changelog is a folder under
changelogs/and each post is a single file, carrying its title, date and published state in frontmatter. See GitHub Sync for the layout.New Clone a version through the API: Cloning a version is no longer editor-only. One call copies every documentation, page and API reference into a new version and re-points internal links at the copies, so cutting a new version can be part of your release pipeline. The clone arrives unpublished, giving you a chance to review it before publishing.
New API References: Long references no longer have to live on one page. Turn on One endpoint per page and an API reference opens on an overview of its servers, authentication and tags, with readers picking a single endpoint at a time from the index. Your existing links keep working.
Bug Fix Editor: The editor now renders a page exactly as your published site does. Headings no longer grow slightly in edit mode, external links no longer pick up a stray arrow, and code steps and code tabs match the published spacing and wrapping.
Bug Fix Page Linking: A link to a heading on the same page now scrolls to that heading instead of opening a new tab on your documentation home. Copying or middle-clicking the link gives the correct deep link too.
Bug Fix API References: Clicking an endpoint in the sidebar of an API reference now scrolls it clear of the top navigation bar, instead of leaving its title tucked behind it.
Bug Fix Page Linking: Clicking a link to a heading inside your content now jumps on the first click, rather than needing a second one.
New Team: Organisation settings gains a Team pane where owners can see everyone in the organisation, sort by name or last active, and deactivate a member instead of removing them. A deactivated member can no longer sign in, but stays credited on everything they wrote in page history and the activity log.
Bug Fix Published Site: Chrome and Google Translate can translate your documentation again. The page content is translated while code blocks, inline code, code tabs and GitHub embeds stay verbatim.
New API: A new broken links endpoint returns every broken or risky link in a version, with the page, the link text and a plain-English reason, so you can run link checks from your own CI.
Improvement API Playground: The playground response pane has a Wrap toggle for long lines, and scrolling a long response no longer scrolls the page behind it.
Bug Fix Quick Switcher: Searching for a common word across a large version no longer freezes the editor. Find text now shows one result per page with a count of the rest, plus a summary of total matches.
Bug Fix Tabs: Renaming a tab no longer errors when the tabs block is deleted while the name field is still open.
New GitHub Sync: Complete rewrite to our GitHub Sync feature. Manage your docs as code. Connect a GitHub repository and your content stays in sync both ways, so edits in DeveloperHub and commits in your repo flow to each other automatically, with drafts as branches, page history linked to each commit, and an automatic validation check on every pull request.
Improvement API References: Large object and array fields in request and response body tables now fold into a summary you can expand, so big schemas are much easier to scan.
Bug Fix API Editor: Comparing two revisions of an API reference in its history no longer fails with "Unable to load the diff viewer."
New Versions: Publishing a version now scans it for broken links first. A clean version publishes straight away; if any links are broken you get a clear report and can fix them or publish anyway.
Improvement Published Site: Images now load lazily as you scroll, so image-heavy pages paint faster and deep links land on the right section.
Improvement SEO: Your published documentation now shows up correctly for a much wider set of search engines, AI assistants, and social link-preview bots, so more of them index your pages and show a proper preview when your docs are shared.
Improvement Headings: Every heading on a published page now has its own anchor, so you can link directly to any section, not just the top-level ones.
New Export: Versions can be exported separately from version settings.
Bug Fix Tabs: The reader now remembers the tab you picked (for example "Python") as you move between pages, and keeps matching tab groups on the same page in sync. It was always opening the first tab.
Bug Fix AI Assistant: Source links in AI Assistant answers now open the correct documentation page instead of a broken link.
Improvement Published Site: Your published documentation loads faster on first visit, with one redundant request removed from page load.
Bug Fix Links: Right-click "Open in new tab", middle-click, and "Copy link" on a documentation link now use the correct URL on projects with a base path (they previously 404'd).
Bug Fix Page History: For projects with AI change summaries enabled, saving a page again writes a one-line summary of what changed into your page history.
Improvement Navigation: Reorganising your categories and pages by drag-and-drop is smoother, with edge auto-scroll for long lists and a drag preview that shows how many pages move with a category. Categories now move as a unit with everything inside them, and deleting a category that still has pages asks you to confirm first.
Improvement Import & Export: The DeveloperHub export and import format is now called Markdoc, a documented, portable standard for moving content in and out of DeveloperHub.
Improvement Editor: The editor opens noticeably faster, especially on projects with many pages.
Bug Fix Editor: Undo inside a code block no longer throws an error.
Bug Fix HTML Blocks: HTML blocks that load an external script, such as embedded video players, now render correctly on your published pages.
Bug Fix Icons: Editing an icon keeps your custom CSS classes, and the Classes field is back in the icon options.
New Accordions: Add collapsible, titled sections to any page with the new accordion block. Choose which sections start open.
Improvement Browser Support: The editor now works fully in Firefox, Safari, and Edge. See the full list of supported browsers.
Bug Fix Landing Pages: Card and row layouts now collapse to a single column on mobile, so landing pages read cleanly on phones.
Improvement Editor: Broken and unreachable links are now underlined inline as you edit, and clicking an issue in the link report jumps straight to the link on the page.
Improvement Feedback: A cleaner, neutral design for the page feedback widget on your published docs, with a refreshed look in dark mode.
New Tables: Duplicate a row or column from the table menu, and drag rows and columns to reorder them, right inside the table editor.
New 🚀 PDF Export: PDF export now renders new-editor projects natively, with working internal links, a clickable table of contents, and page bookmarks. The export modal also shows live build progress while your PDF is generated.
Improvement Editor: Inline code and keyboard keys have a cleaner, more neutral look inside callouts.
New Editor: New projects now start on the rebuilt editor by default, so every new project gets the latest editing experience from day one.
New 🚀 Editor: We have rebuilt the editor from the ground up. What you save is exactly what comes back: underscores stay underscores, no stray stars after saving, and even the toughest formatting saves cleanly.
Improvement Editing: Full undo and redo with nothing lost, and pasting from Google Docs, Confluence, or Notion now keeps your formatting intact.
New Blocks: New building blocks, including blockquotes and a standalone code block with syntax highlighting and line numbers alongside multi-language code tabs. Callouts no longer need a title, and callouts and code blocks have a cleaner design in light and dark themes.
New Tables: Tables are now a real layout tool. Merge cells, turn the header row on or off, and colour and align individual cells.
Improvement Images: Align an image left, centre, or right so it sits exactly where you want in the page.
Improvement AI Agent: The AI Agent now edits your docs in the same format you do, and shows its changes inline so you can review exactly what it added and removed before accepting.
Improvement Page History: A clearer history diff that highlights exactly what text changed, inline, instead of comparing two whole versions side by side.
Improvement Comments: Comments now stay attached to the right place even after the surrounding text is edited, imported, or synced from GitHub.
Bug Fix Branding: A light or near-white brand colour no longer washes out your accents. The Ask AI button and landing page accents (buttons, pills, chips, card icons) now adapt to your theme and stay clearly visible.
New Import: Importing documentation from Markdown now handles embedded base64 images and reference-style image links, such as those in Google Docs Markdown exports. Images are uploaded straight to your project.
Bug Fix Editor: Images placed inside tabs and containers now display correctly.
Bug Fix Navigation: Assigning a section to a navigation group now saves correctly.
Bug Fix API Editor: Renaming keys in the API Editor visual editor no longer drops input focus after the first character.
New Projects: Star your favourite projects to pin them to the top of the project selector, so the docs you work on most are always one click away.
Improvement Published Docs: Navigating between pages in your published docs is now smoother, with preloaded pages swapping in instantly.
New API Editor: A new AI Spec Agent in the API Editor. Ask it to edit your OpenAPI spec in plain English, or hit "Fix with AI" on a lint issue. Review every change in a side-by-side diff and accept or reject the whole batch in one click, undoable like any other edit.
New API: New Changelog API to create and read changelog posts programmatically.
New Editor: Find ⌃/⌘+F now works in the settings code editors.
Improvement API Editor: In the API Editor, the outline refreshes live as you edit the source, and the issues panel is cleaner.
Bug Fix Editor: Undo no longer wipes programmatically loaded content in code editors.
Bug Fix References: Fixed scrolling to a sidebar anchor while editing API references.
Improvement API Editor: Description fields in the API Editor now support multiple lines.
Improvement References: Redesigned comments on API references, with clickable comment-count pins and highlighted unresolved anchors.
Improvement API Editor: The API Editor now lints OpenAPI in realtime.
New Activity Bar: A redesigned activity panel with separate Info and History tabs, plus a "When mentioned" notification option.
Improvement AI Agent: The AI Agent now has compact diff rows and a wider panel for easier review.
Bug Fix Font Picker: Google Fonts now load correctly.
New API Editor: Get started in the API Editor by uploading a file, pasting a URL, or loading a demo.
Improvement API Editor: Big upgrade to the API editor, allowing you to edit components visually. Also, you can jump to references directly from the schema. Further more, there's now a search bar in the API editor.
New Landing Page: A completely new landing page experience. Design landing pages inside DeveloperHub with a drag and drop editor. Add heros, cards, links, buttons, headings, column layouts and even changelogs directly into your landing page.
New Email Invites: Ability to copy the invite link manually if there are email deliverability issues.
